Gary joined the insurance industry on April 1, 1970 as a life agent. He has spent most of those past 30 years assisting his clients accumulate wealth for retirement.
In 1966, Gary entered the United States Air Force Security Service where he was assigned to Misawa, Japan for two years and then assigned for one year in Danang, South Viet Nam until his discharge in January 1970.
Gary and his wife, Sue, attended high school together and were married in Tokyo, Japan. They have two sons, Chris and Jay.
Gary enjoys fishing and hunting, especially Walleye fishing and deer hunting. He attends all Hawkeye basketball and football games and is a member of the University of Iowa Presidents Club.
Gary is a registered representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc.
