Steve resides in Ankeny with his wife of over 35 years, Diane. In addition to books, Steve enjoys pancakes, serving them to Hoover High School students on Fridays and eating them with his granddaughter on Saturdays. Above all else, Steve loves spending time with his grandchildren, especially taking them boating on the Lake of the Ozarks.
